Experience Active Travel
Where are you taking your family this year?
If you’ve traveled with your family to some of the world’s wild places, you know that there is no experience that brings people closer together.
Perhaps the most important aspect of such an adventure is not the destination or the physical challenge, but to connect (and or re-connect) with one another in a meaningful way – it’s a bonding experience that requires a lot of teamwork!
Here are a few of my favorite places.
Heli-hiking in Western CanadaHeli-Hiking in the Canadian Rockies
Ambling, walking, hiking or trekking — these peak experiences will be filled with exploring hidden corners of unvisited mountain terrain accessible only by helicopter with your personal certified guide and naturalist. Returning to the lodges at days end, enjoy a relaxing massage and a soak in a view-rich roof top hot tub before sitting down for a sumptuously prepared dinner.

Wolves & Wildlife of Yellowstone

Wolves of Yellowstone
In the pale light of sunrise, a wolf pack emerges from the forest into the open expanse of Yellowstone National Park’s Lamar Valley. They yelp and cavort, energized by the awakening day, oblivious to our still presence. A large male halts and sniffs the frozen air. As we watch from a distance, we sense the mystical aura of this beast of legend. Elegant predators, wolves are thriving in Yellowstone’s environs where abundant elk, moose and other prey provide sustenance. Winter’s white mantle offers a pristine backdrop against which we view these wild creatures on a rare western safari away from summer crowds.

Group Size is limited to 9 - 14 Travelers since nature expeditions are best experienced with smaller groups of travelers.
